Awais was recommended to me by a friend who had found him very helpful with a number of health problems.
I first saw him early in 2008. I had been suffering from problems with my digestion for some time and was also embarking upon the menopause. At the time I was feeling very unbalanced both emotionally and physically.
From my very first telephone conversation with him, I found Awais friendly, caring and very professional. Acupuncture can release many different emotions, and I have sometimes cried when he has inserted the needles. When this has happened I have always found Awais quietly supportive. He does not intrude inappropriately and provides a completely safe environment in which to discuss physical, mental and spiritual problems that may be helped by acupuncture. I should add that usually, the period spent on the couch is one of deep relaxation and very pleasant – although sometimes there may be various sensations as the needles are inserted.
Awais is always willing to explain and discuss what he is doing and I have learned a great deal from talking to him. One never feels hurried. Awais exudes calm and is generous with his time.
In addition to acupuncture Awais can offer advice on nutrition, meditation and exercise – all arising out of his long practice of Qi Gong and Tai ji.
Some 18 months on, I am feeling clearer and calmer. Such menopausal symptoms as I have do not trouble me, and my digestion has also improved. I find Awais and Seven Heavens a source of relaxation and continuing support in a busy life.
